Beloved of the Light:
As we begin a new cycle of releases in the up surging Radiation of the Resurrection Flame, I would like to draw your attention to the establishment of the Spiritual Hierarchy for this Planet...
The Founding of the Brotherhood dates back to the Ascension of the beloved Gautama Buddha. Prior to that time the evolutionary progress and care of humanity was under the guidance of perfected Beings belonging to other Planetary Systems who had volunteered to sustain the progressive expansion of Light through the Earth people, until the hour when the Earth could, of itself, provide guardians, teachers and protectors in the form of their own arisen members.
An example of a Being who volunteered in the early days was our blessed Regent, Sanat Kumara, who came from Venus when the Earth had so regressed that it was ready for dissolution. It was the Love of this mighty One who cradled the Planet in the Radiation of his Love. Then, after eons of time, you know that the beloved Gautama qualified, through the pressure and expansion of his Love, Wisdom and Power to fill the Office of the Lord of the World - thus allowing beloved Sanat Kumara to return to his home star, Venus. Again, through the Love of this blessed One, he offered to hold the Office of Regent in the Hierarchy for this Earth. In this capacity, he is free to return to Venus at intervals.
With the Ascension of Gautama Buddha, the Earth began to offer flowers of its own garden who were to be the initial members of the ever-widening organization of Spiritual Perfected Beings known as the Great White Brotherhood, or Spiritual Hierarchy. We know that, as in the case of Sanat Kumara, there are some Spiritual Beings who are not of Earth evolution who hold honorary offices. It is, however, the endeavor of the Brotherhood to fill all offices with members of the human race who have achieved perfection and self-mastery in the schoolroom which they will serve from this exalted position.
With the Ascension of more and more lifestreams as the centuries have passed, the Spiritual Brotherhood has increased in number, powers and capacity and is a much stronger and more powerful influence on the evolution of the race than it was at its inception. Thus even a Spiritual Order grows and is nourished and expands in wisdom and love and becomes a more powerful instrument of the God-Will in setting into motion the Divine Plan for the race which this Brotherhood serves.
Outer members of the Great White Brotherhood who still wear earth bodies were limited in the early centuries to a very small and select number as the expansion of the Light was not found but in a few. With the New Day, however, the Cosmic Expansion of the Light is felt in the spiritual impetus surging through thousands and thousands of unascended beings, and consciously or unconsciously, there are many more members of the outer court of the Brotherhood today who are doing, according to their capacity, God's Will than in the initial hours when this Cosmic Order was instituted.
It is for each member of this Brotherhood to remember his duty, his responsibility, and his service to the whole that the work set before the Brotherhood by the Divine Law may quickly come to fulfillment.
