My Beloved Chelas:

I would like to direct your attention to the power of the soul which uses the medium of consciousness to sustain the image which it holds.

The soul has not known a cessation of being since it was first created, whether on this planet or in the “realms beyond the grave". In every embodiment the soul has lived, it has externalized a personality which was composed of the nature and tendency of the soul, and this personality has ceased to be when the soul was called from the Earth at the close of each embodiment. The personality has no permanence, no importance, being but a garment chosen by the soul in a certain life. The soul, however, has usually taken a vehicle that expresses much the same tendencies that shone through other garments of personalities, whether it has returned to the same environment or to some distant location where a lesson could be learned.

Individuals hold the personalities so dear, yet they are but a projection of the soul's concept of his True Identity. The soul is not constant, but changing - the "I AM" Presence changeless. When an individual comes to a point where he recognizes that the personality is but a thought image created by his soul and thrown on the screen of life as himself, he can at that instant repudiate it. Then in the authority of his own Divine Godhood, he could command that his soul be illumined with relation to his True Being, and that Light entering the soul will throw on the screen of life the revelation of the Christ Presence.

The soul itself is the medium through which the Spirit radiates, and cannot be despised; it is the accumulation of the centuries of experience and forms the channel through which the Light flows. The arrogance and tendencies of the soul is not to be minimized for it is not eager to have its image destroyed and wants things to remain as they are.

Why does mankind reject change? Why have they fought progress and the vision of the 'awakened' from the beginning of time? Because the soul holding the reins is not eager to return them to the Light of the Christ Self. The soul is much wiser than the personality and I counsel you not to battle it but to constantly be about the process of purification of your own soul and those of all mankind. An understanding of your soul is of the utmost importance, also of all men. By calling for Light, Grace and Peace within them, an alliance between your desire for God and your soul's real desire to return should prove beneficial in your forward progress.

Love and Blessings,

THE MAHA CHOHAN
