Beloved Chelas: 

At certain times of the year, business houses take inventory of their stock and a general stock-taking occurs annually and sometimes semi-annually; 

If this was not done, they would find that they were not replete with the merchandise to supply their customers’ requirements. Delays in meeting their customer’s wishes or demands often result in loss of business and good will. 

There is a simile here for the chelas. I do not personalize this in any way but I believe it is a good idea for all the chelas to do a little introspective contemplation at greater intervals, in order that you will have the supply of the Virtue on hand which you may require. 

It is not sufficient that you do this when you are consciously aware that the Karmic Board is in specific session, such as at those Meetings held when the Retreat at the Rocky Mountains is particularly honored, nor is it prudent for the chela to hurriedly examine his consciousness a relatively short time before the presenting of the sheaves at Shamballa! 

As you travel the Path of Light, many occasions arise when you wish that you had a greater momentum of a certain Virtue or Gift with which to assist your fellowman in general, or a specific individual. At that time you should also examine your consciousness to ascertain why you have not built a momentum in your Causal Body so that instantaneous help could be drawn forth. Then you should set a goal for yourself and consciously endeavor to expand that Gift so that 'your stock' will be ample to assist another part of life. This is your responsibility as chelas under the conscious direction of the Spiritual Hierarchy. 

I would like to emphasize that it is extremely-important for all to cultivate the Blessing of Comfort which is a study and requirement in itself.
