To My Chelas:

Man's consciousness is movable. That means he can dwell upon the Ascended Masters and Perfect Expressions in the world of form, or his attention and feelings can animate the activities of the outer self. You have seen a simple see-saw which provides exercise and pleasure for the young, where one or the other side of the plane is temporarily raised or lowered according to the amount of weight and pressure placed upon it. The consciousness within man acts in the same manner, through intensifying the Divine Nature or the human according to the choice of the individual as to where the weight or the pressure of his Life-Energy chooses to function.

Man must come to the place of mastery which is the exact center, wherein both planes of consciousness (inner and outer) are perfectly balanced. In this perfect place of balance the individual has contact with the Higher Activity of Life, and also has the capacity, from the Center of Existence, to direct the outer self according to the will, design and desire of his Spiritual Nature.

If his consciousness is immersed in the things of Earth, man receives only fragmentary instruction from above. When his attention draws him from the Center of his being - although his soul progress is great - he does not have the perfect alignment of his lower instruments - his emotional, mental, etheric and physical nature - which enables him to transfer God's Will into the affairs of men. I repeat, balance must be maintained.

Printed instruction is like a door, but one must pass through the words into the inner realization of the fact which the words so inadequately portray. In the Octave of Perfection the Light, Pictures and Colors express much more accurately the Truth of Life than the most exquisitely spoken or written essay, for words at best are but the coarser clothing of Reality.

Love and Blessings,

THE MAHA CHOHAN
