Dear Children: 

The Planet Earth viewed through the Inner Eye shows a circular sphere through which run limitless streams of energy in horizontal and perpendicular fashion much as knitting wool is wound in a ball. To each individual incarnate are attached hundreds of streamers of energy all of which, combined, make up his - vibratory action. Every nationality has a vibratory action of its own, which is an energy-wave that is anchored into the substance of the bodies of the people born of that race. So has each religion a specific vibration, each patriotic association and even every small affiliation has a distinct vibratory action which is one or more ribbon of force connected with the heart-center of the individual who becomes part of such a group. 

There is a regular stream of force running, with a specific tone and color for every amusement and every sport, and as each person contributes his life-energy to these lines of force which form his hobby, his interest or his duty, he adds to the sum total of that particular river, and draws into himself a proportion of the color, tendency and nature of its substance. 

I mention this so that you might understand how man is a conglomerate mass of vibrations, tones and tendencies. When a great number of people become interested in some particular unconventional fad of the moment, that particular river of force is greatly intensified and becomes a pressure upon sensitive and impressionable people, and so you have an international "fashion". 

Seeing then, my chelas, how complex is your connection and tie, and how no man can live unto himself, you can understand the tremendous necessity for the calls to the Sacred Fire of Transmutation to disconnect your selves from this mass accumulation. The service of the Great White Brotherhood forms a tremendous current of force and energy which is fed constantly by all our Thoughts, Plans and Designs, and we are, in turn, part of this living river to which we have dedicated our Beings. I AM grateful you have now learned through your aspirations, your self-discipline, and the refinement of your inner bodies to tune into this Higher River of Force and draw its nature into your own feeling worlds.
