The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 17, Number 3 January 20, 1995
Beloved Students of the Light,
It has only been a few short weeks since your petitions were presented to the Karmic Board and the energy for the work of the next six month period was released. At the same time, in the outer world of man, many individuals decided upon and made their new year's resolutions. As you can see, both of these activities are important in the forward development of the race of man, as they serve the same purpose at different levels of consciousness, by allowing people to commit to a particular activity through the use of free will and several other of God's magnificent gifts.
As you have come to understand on your personal paths, two of the qualities that must be present to successfully complete that which you have agreed to do, are dedication and constancy. However, the quality that must always be introduced first, and present in any endeavor for it to be successful, is divine love. It is one thing to offer your life energy to a cause, but more often than not, quite another to then fulfill your responsibility. Love is the power that keeps you firmly connected to the work you must perform, and it is love that maintains your commitment to see your task through to completion.
As you contemplate your past life experiences, recall if you accomplished the many things you had a great desire to do and then vowed to complete. If not, it is time to transmute and release any feelings of negativity which still remain within you concerning these unfulfilled pledges. You must also look at the fact that other people may have made promises to you which were never kept. With these experiences also, you must use the sacred fire to forgive all the people involved, including yourself.
Remember, you must begin to look at all your life experiences as learning experiences. It is time to offer gratitude for these very important gifts in your life; and if there are still past experiences which hold any vestiges of fear and pain, use one or more of the many tools you have become proficient in, beloved ones, for they have been given to you for this very purpose. Receive the gift of full freedom for yourself and others, for mankind may no longer carry these thoughts, feelings, and memories forward. You have reached a point in your evolution where your ascension into much higher states of consciousness will be hindered unless these past experiences are transmuted. You must also look to the future with an open mind and not fall into the trap of human consciousness, once again creating further negativity in need of transmutation.
This, beloved ones, is your task for the coming week. Recall at least five experiences which need the forgiving and purifying power of the sacred violet flame. By the same token, find at least five experiences you are grateful to have received. Perhaps you may want to consider writing such things as these in your personal diaries as we proceed through this year to refer to at a later time. I shall begin first by saying I AM grateful to have this opportunity to work with each and every one of you in this way.
