Beloved Friends, 

Your Holy Christ Self is in full awareness of the enlightenment required by your human consciousness, in order to best facilitate Unity with Divine Mind. Unity with the Mind of God implies complete at-one-ment with God's purpose and plan for your lifestream. As you move through your daily experiences, every situation and circumstance you encounter holds forth a precious gift to your lifestream. The ability to spiritually discern the nature of these gifts, and their right and proper use for your own unfoldment - is, again, the province of the Inner Christ. Therefore, it is important that you become able to discern the voice of the Christ above all others in the world of form. 

This is the primary purpose behind all of the teachings of the Ascended Masters, given to you through the Bridge to Spiritual Freedom activity. While we give you a great deal of information each week and month which seems to primarily apply to the planetary needs, there are personal lessons hidden within each and every discourse. 

In order to make optimum use of the Bridge publications, it is helpful to take the time to prepare yourself to receive. This can be accomplished in much the same way as you prepare your sanctuary prior to initiating group work. Namely, you should PURIFY, CONSECRATE, and PROTECT your Cup of Consciousness. In this way, you will be receptive to the fullness of Divine Mind expressed through your Christ, and the enlightenment you seek will be able to move through the open channel of your consciousness into your life experience. 

These preparatory steps to your study time may be fulfilled through decree, affirma­tion, visualization - any creative action to which you feel dynamically attuned. I would suggest that you lay this matter at the feet of your Christ, when you next enter the Great Silence. Then, using your Spiritual Journal, create a decree or other vehicle which will help you to fulfill the preparatory activity required. 

We, in the Octaves of Light, are fully cognizant of the fact that you - each individual chela - are the Open Door for our energy into the world of form. Your personal, individual growth and progress is abundantly important to us - not only because of the work you do for the Earth, but simply because we love you so dearly! As you utilize our suggestions to create a steady radiation of God Light in your own life experience, know that our love and gratitude supports and enfolds you at all times.
