The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 15, Number 40                                                                                                              October 1, 1993

Beloved Chelas,

The matter of spiritual discernment is crucial to the evolution of both individual and race consciousness. I have watched you for the last week, as you pondered and weighed this issue. Let us explore together some of the facets of the jewel which I call spiritual discernment - or Divine Wisdom.

Divine Truth is constant; that is, the Divine Attribute which we call "Truth" is unchangeable and ever-present. Every person, condition and circumstance contains within itself a core of Truth which is immovable. This "core of Truth" is the Divine Principle or Law which creates and governs the person, condition or circumstance. Beloved God Principa refers to the reigning Principle of all Life as the "One Law", expressed perfectly in the words "I AM"!

Divine Wisdom is the ability to spiritually discern the Divine Truth which lives at the core of all. Divine Wisdom is a faculty of the Christ of man. Thus, we do not say simply "discernment", for the discernment of which the human mind is capable is a mere shadow of the Wisdom of the Christ.

The Christ of man is able to perceive, with spiritual vision, the Truth within any human illusion. The Inner Christ perceives through the outer appearance to the Divine Truth I AM which lies at its core. The Christ is enabled to do this through the power of the Presence of God I AM, flowing through him at all times. As you unite with your Inner Christ, his abilities become your own. Through the Love, Wisdom and Power of your Heart Center, you are enabled to think, see, understand and create, in perfect alignment with the Divine Plan.

Last week, I asked you a question: How do you best discern which spiritual nourishment is most needed by your lifestream, and which provender may be put aside until needed? The answer to this question is: Through the Wisdom of your Inner Christ, you shall come to know all things.

When you open your monthly copy of the Bridge to Spiritual Freedom Journal, or pick up a Shamballa Letter, do you prepare yourself to receive, before you read? Remember, the steps to Illumined Obedience are: Ask, Wait, Discern, and Act. If these steps are taken out of order, or if some are omitted, the results obtained will be incomplete.

Learning is a joy! If it is not a joy, then it is being governed by the human consciousness rather than the Inner Christ. If your lessons seem cumbersome, it is time to stop, enter the Silence, and ASK for guidance.

Next week, we will begin to discuss some ways in which you may utilize the Steps to Illumined Obedience. This will optimize your study program in a way that will both accelerate your progress and smooth your path.

I love you, beloved ones!

I AM Kuthumi
