The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 14, Number 6 February 7, 1992
My Beloved Students of Light,
As a chela, you already understand many things, but you must always remember never to assume yourself to be above any other person by reason of your higher understanding. In fact, you must be ever more humble, for humility is the companion of all true spiritual understanding. True humility never announces itself. It is silent in the face of obstacles or oppression. True humility knows itself to be truly free in the most important sense, which is inner. Outer humility is necessary, but only the individual knows whether true humility dwells within his own consciousness!
Learn to think humbly! Also, learn to think with practicality! Both aspects are Divine, and will do more to draw the Light into the Earth than many of the grandiose ideas being presented at this time by those who wish to claim your attention. This will only deter you from your Spiritual Paths. To be practical in your spiritual work means to learn ways to apply your spiritual knowledge on the physical plane.
Spend some time in reflection upon the Beings of Light who have helped you during 1991, and give them of your gratitude. As you move more deeply into the new year with the Forces of Light that are now available, you will discover a great expansion of your spiritual abilities! You will be given a great deal of assistance in the practical work of applying these abilities.
As a chela, you are in constant communication with these Forces of Light. You have only to turn your attention to the Sponsors and the Enfolding Spirit of the year, and because you are a chela the return current of their attention is immediately with you! It is expected that you will take advantage of this fact, calling forth their energies to merge with yours, as you work for the highest good of all life upon the Earth.
Realize the privilege that is yours, and magnetize the specific impetus of the current retreat cycle. In that way, you will intensify the qualities of the Flame which is active in the Earth during that time. If all our chelas concentrate upon the work each month as it is presented, the Divine Plan for the entire Earth is tremendously accelerated.
This month, while beloved Saint Germain's Cathedral is open, let us all focus upon bathing the Earth and all her evolutions with Violet Fire until they are truly expressing God's Desire!
Over the years Saint Germain has repeatedly offered to work with all of you who are desirous of learning more about the use of the Violet Fire. He has also suggested that each individual use their creative powers to continue developing and expanding this work. He has asked for the assistance of the World Teachers in this endeavor. It was decided that we could assist by teaching the chelas some of the basic principles of creating decrees. These decrees could then be applied to the combined efforts, and also to their special areas of interest. We will begin this in my next letter. In the meantime, as you give your decrees during this week, take note of their construction.
In closing, I call forth the blessings, vitality and love of the sacred Flame of Transmutation to bathe you in its light!
