Beloved Friends:

After short or long periods of the state which should be referred to as 'Holy Matrimony,' there appears to be great irreconcilable differences on which the two partners cannot agree, and each goes his separate way.

Permit me to elucidate on one of the reasons for this incompatibility… In the human octave when two lifestreams decide to join their Paths in the course of Holy Matrimony, the success of the venture is dependent primarily upon the capacity of each to understand the nature and motivating power within the other.

The average individual approaches such a union with a firm conviction that his own understanding of life will, in time, mold and form the other partner into the design which, in all sincerity, he feels is the perfect picture. Both parties; more or less holding to this unconscious but powerful feeling and neither one becoming selfless enough to understand what is within the other, we have the matrimonial barque riding rough seas and oft times destroyed upon the rocks of disillusion.

When people first marry, if they are what the world terms 'in love' there is a great desire to enter into the same interests and feelings, one with the other - to cultivate the same friends and the same experience... and that is a little glimpse of the endeavor of two human consciousness’ to combine... but the love of man for wife or parent, for child, is nothing as to the Love that must come for student to Master, and when that hour comes you will want to see yourself and each other as we see you.

When the chela comes to a point where his consciousness is joined with that of his Presence, he must again turn the heart toward an understanding of the NATURE of the loved one in order to fulfill the design for the greatest good of the whole.

In short, each lifestream must love his fellow traveler knowing that he is part of the Universal Body of the Father-Mother God.

Married or single, each should remember the statement which I have given innumerable times in the past "I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER"!

Love and Blessings, THE MAHA CHOHAN
