Beloved Chelas:

At the Conclave at the Rocky Mountain Retreat which begins the New Year, there are Beings who represent the Seven Spheres of God Consciousness, all of who are concerned directly or indirectly with the Planet Earth. Simultaneously, there are great Conclaves in process upon the Planets that are inhabited by self-conscious intelligences in our System; and there are likewise present Representatives of the Seven Spheres on all such intelligent evolutionary bodies. 

At the completion of the Conclave, when the Plans and Designs for the coming year have been clearly set forth, and the Grants of Energy have been awarded by the Lords of Karma, all the Beings return to the Sphere in which they have their Temples of Light and Causative Centers. Here the Angelic Host, the Elemental Kingdoms, the Holy Christ Selves of our evolutionary schemes who are interested in particular Planets, gather together and the Design for the Year is set into motion through the contributing forces of each such Being who endeavors through the pressure of his own Flame to direct and sustain a facet of Radiation and a Sphere of Influence upon the Planet of his choice and interest. 

The great Beings who represent the center of movements and of Nature Cycles set, draw and focus the Flame within their Temples which will form the sustaining power for those activities for the coming year, and all the various Temples and schools make their plans for the participation of the intelligent beings in unfolding the Design which has been God-given. As this inner work is in process, the individual Beings are also in contact with each other at Shamballa, and they are working at the Inner Level and also at the great Councils at Shamballa in order to prepare for the unfoldment of the greatest Good for the greatest number. 

From Shamballa then the directions will go forth as to the Retreats which will have the honor of the attention of the Brotherhood and the concentration of the brother's Light in rhythmic process as the months unfold. Those who are to serve together are dedicated by beloved Lord Gautama or Lord Divino to their tasks and blessed, and anointed, in their going forth. 

This is the service of January, and which will occupy the greater portion of the month.
