Children of Light: 

Two thousand years ago Beloved Jesus - his compassion being stirred to the utmost by the sight of the grief people felt when their loved ones were taken by what mankind calls death - declared "the last enemy to be overcome is death". The fear of this, the separation, the cutting-off of communication and the uncertainty of what comes thereafter, makes the laying aside of the bodily garment appear a terrifying experience for the great majority of persons. This should not be. There is no need that it be so. Life is one. "The here and the there" is one vast schoolroom. 

When he saw Mary's anguish, for what seemed to her to be the loss of her brother, Jesus wept for her - not for the so-called death of Lazarus but at the suffering it occasioned. In his loving pity Jesus brought Lazarus back to life, as he did others, who were pronounced “dead”. All of which proves that man has power over death and dissolution when he reaches a certain state of consciousness which the Beloved Jesus had attained. 

There is glorious promise in this and encouragement for men to continue their studies and contemplation along spiritual and scientific lines. 

When man's Earth-span in this schoolroom is over he is attended by a Heavenly escort and taken to a special Realm of Peace, therein to rest in harmonious Light beyond human comprehension, until he volunteers to take the next step in his evolution. These Beings who minister to the passing one as he leaves the Earth-plane are invisible to the incarnate individuals, because of their finer etheric bodies, but they have chosen to serve Life thus. Be assured there is more care taken of the outgoing spirit than there is of the incoming ones.

After rest and refreshment in the Light, the evolving lifestream is guided by Advanced Teachers to the companionship of those in a similar class of spiritual knowledge. For the individual Spark of Life held within the body temple there is no death. There is only a change of consciousness - a glorious expansion of that Spark of Life - a blending with the Whole. There is always the upward reaching. Identity is not lost, but there is more of an intense awareness of the Spiritual. 

To those who believe, as so many religions teach, that the outgoing one is transported immediately to a realm of golden paved streets, where all play harps and musical instruments, there is keen disappointment. The Kingdom of Heaven is not a place of such boredom. It is a State of Light, of great conscious awareness for the lifestream, of great love and continual advancement. 

Jesus has said "The Kingdom of God is within you". Through contemplation of the powers within him, man can throw off the ignorance of human imperfection and emerge, (while yet wearing the bodily garment) through enlightened understanding into the radiant Being, the Father meant him to be, and which he truly is. Be assured, beloved, I AM ever conscious of each of my faithful up-reaching wayfarers. You live always in my Heart.
