Summer Conference

My beloved chelas,

I lovingly greet you at the opening of this conference, as we join in concentrating our attention upon the God virtue of constancy. Together, let us build a strong momentum, through which we will direct the ray of God-illumination, wisdom and understanding into the waiting hearts of all humanity.

One of my first thoughts about constancy has to do with the friendship between us, which has extended through many ages, leading to the present time. In previous ages, we worked toward many of the same goals, but now in this New Age, we have the joy of consciously joining our efforts to help all life on the Earth move forward into spiritual freedom. This consciousness, now firmly established, shall never recede, but continue to build an ever fuller momentum of love, wisdom and power, from which all life may draw in the times to come.

I would like to remind you that, as you are moving forward into deeper friendship with the masters of light and other cosmic beings, you are also deepening the friendship that exists between yourselves as chelas and lightworkers. In this process, you shall become perfected in brotherhood, just as we have before you. True brotherhood binds the friendships in Heaven that are first established on Earth through a common goal. That goal is your desire to bring about the highest good for all life. Beloved ones, this desire lifts you out of the personal and into the universal and infinite mind and heart of all creation.

As you develop along these lines of sacred friendship, another quality that will further intensify is a deepening respect toward the individual differences between you. I mention this because―as your friendship grows―you will become infinitely more sensitive and understanding toward each other's needs, as well. There will be times―especially in this year of the Second Ray―when each and every one of you will need to be quieter. Less discussion will be necessary or desirable, because you will be busy inside yourselves, sorting out many of the understandings you previously held, as you receive further enlightenment along all lines of knowledge and endeavor.

I have spoken before about serving as one of the three Wise Men during the time when Micah embodied as Master Jesus. The friendship that exists between Master El Morya, Master Kuthumi and myself still flourishes under the loving guidance and instruction of beloved Micah, and it is the highest example of true friendship I may offer to you. With it, I also hold the deepest hope in my heart that each and every one of you may have the gift of just such a friendship through all eternity. I now wish to place before you some of the symbols of our relationship at that time, for I believe it will be helpful to you as you proceed forward along your paths.

As the three Wise Men, we had certain qualities in common. These were:

We lifted our vision to the heavens above: All three of us were astronomers, and studied the 'heavens'. We studied the higher teachings as a compelling pursuit. We each believed that God had a divine plan for us and for all humanity. We 'lifted our eyes' above the outer appearances around us, and were then able to see the star. We recognized it as a sign of the divine idea and kept our eyes upon it, following God's plan and purpose.

We all followed the same star: We agreed upon the divine plan, and determined to follow that star wherever it might lead us.

We traveled together: We joined our efforts in this common pursuit, recognizing the power of unity.

We were all willing to go through whatever was necessary to reach our goal: We had faith in the journey and the outcome of the divine plan, and we believed in the power of God to lead us onward.

We rode camels in the caravan across the desert: This was a symbol of mastery over the four lower vehicles and our own human nature. It represented the ability to get that nature to serve us, and take us where we wished to go.

We came from the East, which means from the point of enlightenment, or true understanding. As the sun rises in the East, so we came to discover and proclaim that the Christ was born in the world of form.

We were known as kings: This meant we had not only reached a point of responsible government within our own lives, but we had been given authority and dominion over others in 'our own country', or sphere of influence.

We recognized and bowed down before the greater power, which―of course―was that of the Christ.

We all brought gifts to the Christ child: We recognized that we had qualities to offer to life, and that they were of great value. These gifts represent the love, wisdom and power of God, given to the Christ Child. Under the dominion of the Christ, grown to full stature, they will be used at the perfect time and in the perfect way.

We wore our crowns and cloaks of authority: These were the 'visible' signs of authority, which meant that our power and level of evolution and understanding were not in question.

We kept SILENT! Both before and after we found the subject of our holy search, we kept silent, recognizing that the earthly king Herod was a false king, and meant to kill the Christ consciousness within humanity's heart. Herod, of course, represented human consciousness, which knows that the coming of the Christ is the end of its existence and power over the world.

We returned home by a different way: This, beloved chelas, means we returned home in secrecy, no longer appearing as kings, but taking the truth home within our hearts. Having found that which we sought, our mission changed from seeking the Christ to a new dispensation. I shall entitle it 'Waiting Upon The Christ', and tell you that the three Wise Men still serve in this New Age.

Beloved chelas, the journey was both real and―at the same time―spiritually symbolic. What is true for us is also true for you and every lifestream who enrolls in the school of Earth.

As we served the Christ in Master Jesus then, we also serve the Christ within you now, with joy for this opportunity. We bring our gifts and place them lovingly within the Threefold Flame of the Christ. When our mission is revealed within your hearts, know that—as we still travel, you may now travel with us, if you choose, carrying your gifts to the Christ that is to be born in the hearts of every human being on the Earth. Assured of our help, prepare for your journey well!
