Beloved chelas of light,

It is with great joy and gratitude that I address you today. As I look upon you, I see you as ever-expanding spirits of illumination. Please feel the radiation of my beloved Lady Constance, for she stands beside me as I speak.

All during the month of August, the chelas have been blessed by the intensified radiation of beloved Kwan Yin. In order to accelerate your progress on the path, Lady Constance and I were invited to prepare a special chamber in the Temple of Mercy and Compassion in which to draw the Flame of Illumination and combine its activity with the Flame of Mercy. This chamber will remain for use as required or requested by the chelas. You may ask to come here whenever you feel the need.

In this chamber, after each chela has bathed his entire being with the Mercy Flame, he may then receive the illumination that will set him free from recurring karmic experiences forever. This idea was born out of our observation of the chela's acceptance and application of the Mercy Flame's gift. We have noticed that many lifestreams would forget the importance of constant work with this flame, partly due to the momentary release and freedom they had experienced.

I would like to explain how these lessons are taught. In previous ages, the neophyte, seeking spiritual understanding about his own existence, would apply for entrance in the mystery schools. In order to be accepted, he would have to pass several initiations—each one according to his degree of understanding. For that purpose huge temples were built, and the neophyte would stand before the portal, patiently waiting to enter. He was told nothing except that he should not totally rely on his physical senses if he wished to be successful and become an initiate.

At first glance, the tests often seemed impossible of accomplishment, because 'everything appeared to be so real'. Each test would embody a spiritual principle, teaching the aspirant of the cosmic law involved. Even though the key of understanding was given, he still had to find the door leading to the Holy Christ Self within his own heart.

However, we have now entered the new era of Spiritual Freedom, and because the consciousness of humanity has evolved, our chelas encounter these tests and initiations in their day-to-day experiences. These tests are some of the final ones necessary in this physical world. They are the closest to your goal which, once achieved, will draw you upward into your God state of perfection.

To prepare each one for the final tests, the individual, while asleep, is taken into an etheric temple. There, he goes through an initiation similar to those given in the ancient days. Upon achieving success, that which he has learned is well implanted in his mental body. Then, when he is confronted with a similar situation in the world of form, that lesson may be promptly drawn from his mental vehicle, provided he does not rely only on his five senses.

The reason why the Earth is being restored through the vehicle of the Christ is very simple in concept. Humanity has to learn and understand the right use of energy, and that is accomplished through the Golden Flame of Illumination. Through illumination, one's consciousness is easily attuned to the great cosmic current of wisdom.

The Christ is undoubtedly the son, but the true understanding of the word 'son' is the light of the sun, manifest in physical form. Light―pure, pristine, perfect light―is the only begotten son of the one God! In all instances of spiritual reference, the use of the word 'son' indicates the child of the light of the Great Central Sun, and does not refer to gender.

During this year (1993) all the chelas are receiving the impetus from the first sphere of creation. This means the student is able to draw from it all the protection and determination needed to set things right once and for all.

My beloved friends, be wise. Request your shining Angels of Restoration, belonging to the Seventh and Second Rays, to alternately stand within your aura and intensify their divine qualities in your precious heart flame. Remember, the Mercy Flame is also a flame of love and with the help of this particular quality, the flame of love within your heart shall rise to much greater heights of expression.

The Blue Flame in your heart represents the divine Father. It nourishes the sun―the golden flame―imparting the impetus and strength to grow and mature in consciousness. The divine Mother, represented by the pink flame of the Holy Spirit, holds the sun within the embrace of love, so that it will always use its power with care and reverence for life.

Beloved chelas of light, the Christ is like a seed, which springs forth when the soil is fertile and the environment is pure. The flame of mercy and compassion is one of the major tools to prepare the soil in the garden of your heart. This same tool is used to keep your lotus pure and perfect after it has bloomed. When that takes place, beloved ones, the Holy Christ Self shall burst forth, pouring forth its sweet essence―the divine elixir―into the grail of your consciousness. Then, and only then, you shall realize the unmeasured service to life your divine soul has given.

In closing, I leave you with a final thought. To attain the perfection of any God-gift, it must be used. Will you not take the opportunity to reach perfection in the use and application of the Mercy Flame? Remember that beloved Kwan Yin's temple is open during the entire year, and this will now include the chamber of illumination we have been privileged to establish there. Ask to visit whenever you feel the need of our combined radiation.

Beloved ones, as you accept our constancy and joy of service, you increase your own. My beloved Lady Constance and I thank you, and we love you!
