Beloved Co-Servers, 

We recently discussed the formulation of personal spiritual goals, based upon the understanding gained from your experiences. The formulation of goals is a worthy activity, helping to keep you centered in the consciousness of spiritual attainment. It is necessary, however, that the objectives be specific enough to insure steady, rhythmic progress upon the Path of Light. 

Like the petitions which are presented to the Karmic Board by Ascended and Cosmic Beings on behalf of the race, personal goals are petitions presented to the indi­vidual I AM Presence by the Holy Christ Self, on behalf of the unascended consciousness. The primary goal of your Inner Christ is unity with the Presence of God I AM. 

When a lifestream begins to awaken from the slumber of centuries, the Inner Christ takes the responsibility of leading that lifestream to the teachers and experiences he requires for growth. This opens a path of Light between the Holy Christ Self and the outer human consciousness of that individual. 

As the process of evolution accelerates, the lifestream becomes aware that he is responsible for his own creations. Once this responsibility has been faced, he desires to create in accordance with the objectives of the Christ. As chelas of the Great White Brotherhood, each of you serves at this conscious level, always endeavoring to be masters of your own life energy. 

At this level, the primary goal of the Holy Christ Self is translated by the chela into any number of 'sub-goals' - single steps upon the path of spiritual aspiration, every one leading toward the expression of Divine Principle. This is a very important point: The motivating factor behind every personal goal - if that goal is worthy of attainment - must be the fulfillment of Divine Principle. 

As you formulate your personal spiritual goals in attunement with your Inner Christ, it is well to begin with the Principle and work backward, so to speak. You may consider this process as stepping-down the Symphony of Divine Principle, first into meaningful harmonies, and then into clear, individual notes. 

Allow me to give you an example. Let us say that the Divine Principle you wish to express is Unity. This Principle can be stepped-down into the 'harmonies' of Unity among the three Kingdoms (Angelic, Human, Elemental); Unity between the Octaves of Light and the world of form; Unity within the Body of Light, and so on. As you think about the various harmonies that work together to comprise the Symphony of Unity, your Inner Christ, when asked, will direct you to those areas which require the maximum attention of the moment, both for the highest good of your individual growth and your contribution to the work of the group. Then, enfolded in the Wisdom of the Christ, you may further divide the Harmony into individual notes of expression. 

Continuing with our illustration, let us further suppose that you are directed to increase your consciousness of Unity among the three Kingdoms. Your individual notes, or daily goals of activity, might include nurturing and strengthening your physical body; increasing your communion and communication with your Support Group of Angels; and being more harmonious in your family relationships. Regardless of the final form that your daily goals of activity take, they will always require you to exert discipline, establishing rhythmic activity to encourage constancy. 

It is true that the process just described sounds comprehensive and thorough. However, it need not be complicated. In fact, it is best if your daily goals remain simple, as a reflection of the Principle which inspires them. As you exert discipline and fulfill the daily requests of your Holy Christ Self, your spiritual consciousness expands. The momentum created will carry you into ever-widening avenues of service. 

I remind you that every teaching prepares you for the teachings to come! Last year, you were prepared for this higher level of conscious co-service with your Inner Christ. This was done as you were led into the Great Silence, and then instructed in the use of the personal Spiritual Journal. If these disciplines have already become a part of your life, perhaps an expanded level of service has already opened for you! If not, the opportunity remains for you to continue with these disciplines already suggested! 

It is important to know that your Inner Christ is in perfect control of your individual evolution. You will never be asked to fulfill more than that of which you are capable. As you center your attention upon the active fulfillment of Divine Principle in your daily life, know that the Sacred Tone of Creation moves through you to bless and harmonize all Life!
