My beloved Chelas:
As we begin this Volume I would like to direct your attention to the important subject of CONSCIOUSNESS!
Man has no concept of the tremendous guard that should be maintained over his own consciousness, particularly with regard to any GOOD IDEA, any illumination, thought, healing or supply that is anchored with conviction within himself... because while it remains undisturbed in the cradle of his consciousness it MUST manifest as a perfect expression in his world and universe... but if the appearance world can enter through the door of one's consciousness and dislocate or disarrange the inner CONVICTION or picturization, the outer manifestation, in like manner, suffers distortion and diminishes in proportion to the loss within the consciousness.
That is why it has been said repeatedly that experiences of a spiritual nature or manifestations upon which the lifestream is working should not be opened to the minds of human beings. In this way you do not invite the currents of force that are so apt to disturb or destroy the Inner Picture within the consciousness that forms the nucleus or original idea, which, in time, would pass through the realm of thought and feeling and become manifestation.
Through the Realm of Consciousness there comes to every lifestream every beautiful and lasting experience and every manifestation which enters the Third-dimensional Plane as Peace, Healing, Illumination, Security or Physical Assets. When the individual accepts within his or her consciousness the beauty and perfection pressing forth from the Presence, that gift or manifestation becomes an eternal part of the lifestream, and from within the consciousness it is pressed forth or externalized as a physical expression of the Inner Self.
To sustain the manifestation, the lifestream must maintain the inner consciousness of Perfection received from the Presence and the Master....no matter what the external minds of other human beings might suggest. If the inner consciousness maintains a steady picture of the perfect Gift or Manifestation
¾ no external circumstance can change that, but if the inner consciousness, which is sensitive to the mind force and emanations of other human beings, allows his inner picture or design to be distorted or destroyed, the manifestation ceases to be.Guard well the Perfection within the Inner Consciousness and you shall have the perfect manifestations which you desire, or require.
