Beloved Ones:
The Cup of Consciousness was the eternal gift of the Father bestowed upon each individual Focus of the One Divine Principle that, through consciousness, the son might become co-creator with the Father and enjoy, by reason of his consciousness, all the constructive activities that are within Life. Without consciousness there could not be individual creative activity nor could there be the enjoyment resulting therefrom. The quality of the consciousness, however, was left to the discretion of the individual Flame who raised or lowered the individual Cup according to his personal choice of life experience.
Consciousness was given as the means by which the Divine Perfection could be lowered into physical manifestation and, in like manner, imperfection raised into Divinity.
Consciousness has been called by the Perfected Intelligences behind all created worlds - "THE CUP OF TRANSMUTATION", because all Divine Ideas must pass through the focus of consciousness, in order to find form. This is true of creation at interstellar space and at Inner Levels as well as in the human octave. Once the chela fully realizes that his own consciousness being a Cup of Transmutation gives him absolute power to draw from the unformed and, by the lever of consciousness, to send it forth into the Third Dimensional Plane... and, in like manner to take the imperfectly formed appearance and through his own consciousness raise it back into Pure Essence... such an one then becomes a master of circumstance and fate and an invaluable assistance to the Divine Beings who are seeking always the voluntary offering of some unascended being's consciousness through which to direct into the world of form the Perfection they have envisioned and prepared for the benefit of the people.
If you will contemplate your consciousness as a Cups a Matrix, a Cradle or a Grail, and in that, through thought and feeling you have the power within this Cup to affect visibly the Realm above you and the realm below, you will then begin to understand the possibilities that lie within your individual grasp.
You can be constantly transmuting the dross of the appearance world by pouring the Light from within your consciousness upon it and you can by constantly infiltrating into that appearance world the glory of the kingdom by opening your consciousness to that kingdom and letting the projection that will result from the entertainment of Perfection surge forth through that consciousness to enrich the world of men.
