Beloved Chelas:

With the advent of the Season of Lent, the peoples of this Earth associated with the Christian Dispensation begin the period of preparation for the glorious culmination of the ministry of our beloved Master Jesus - the Feast of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. 

In the orthodox world, it is customary to deprive one's self of certain so-called pleasures of eating, drinking, and other gratifications of the lower self, and during that time, to substitute acts of penance, and to devote one's energy to prayer for the forgiveness of sin - usually one own transgressions. 

The illumined chela will, of course, realize that this is a most opportune time to use the purging activity of the Sacred Fire of Transmutation and Purification for himself and for all mankind, and in conjunction with the Thought Form of this Year and the Sponsors of the Year, as well as the Divine Alchemy of the Violet Transmuting Fire, to open the consciousness of the masses to the inflow of God Illumination. 

With the chaotic conditions rampant upon the Earth, we of the Spiritual Hierarchy are only allowed, by Cosmic Law, to give a certain amount of assistance, and for the balance, we must depend upon the chelas to whom we have given the ways and means of lending their energies to this gigantic undertaking of the purification of the Earth and her evolutions. Naturally, the prayer force of those sending forth petitions through the usual means of invocation is most helpful, but if the chela would call to the Angelic Legions to take all the energy so released and to purify it of any personal and selfish reason, we could more quickly return that energy in the release of benefaction for the planet. Certainly, the cause of World Peace is of the utmost importance, and that it includes all rioting and racial disturbances and all plans or contemplated plans for unrest of any kind.

You well know that when you make the invocations for all mankind that you are the beneficiaries of tremendous blessings which outpicture in your beings of the God Virtues requisite to your own God Illumination and advancement upon the Path of Spiritual Attainment, the Victorious Accomplishment of the Ascension in the Light.
