The Temple of Peace is situated in Suva, in the Great Fiji Island, one of the remnants of the gigantic Continent of Mu, which was submerged beneath the purifying waters of the Pacific Ocean. Other neighboring Islands in the Pacific, part of South Africa, Madagascar, Ceylon, Sumatra, Australia and New Zealand were also part of the Continent of Mu, the home of a very advanced and developed race. This was the Continent upon which the third Lemurian race flourished.

To describe the Retreat of Suva in worded language is not an easy task, as it surpasses all you have read in the Arabian Nights. The Temple is situated in a tremendous cave, under a big mountain, the outer part of which covers it. Nobody knows where the entrance is but the earnest, willing and worthy chelas, and they are guided to it and have no difficulty whatsoever in entering after having passed the examination by the Spiritual Protectors.

Upon entering the Temple, you find yourself in a magnificent Crystal Palace; the floors seem to be a vast crystalline sea from which emanates light in the seven colors of the rainbow. You have the sensation that you are walking on water until you reach a wide stairway that surrounds all the Palace. The stairs are circular and are made of transparent crystal. Underneath you can see cascades of multicolored torrents of water. The stairs around the Palace have forty nine steps. The Palace has seven porticos or porches which give entrance to the seven Halls of Learning. The main portico through which you must enter in order to meet Lord Surya is due east.

When you reach this point of destination, you will meet two guardians, a gentleman and a lady, fully seven feet tall. They have a glorious Oriental complexion, with well proportioned faces and blue eyes. They are bare headed with long luxurious chestnut colored hair, and the gentleman wears his hair down to his shoulders, the lady down to her knees. Both are dressed in white robes, which give off an opalescent hue.

After the two guardians give the signal that you may proceed, you go up seven more crystal steps under which you continue to see the multi-colored torrents of water. You approach a large crystal door which opens automatically, over which there is a large cross, and above the cross is a circle, the symbol of this Ascended Master Retreat. You do not have to ask its meaning, you yourself know that it means, 'here spirituality rules materiality'.

Upon entering the circular crystal hall you see, seated on a high throne, the majestic Lord Surya. He is slender of form and seven feet tall. His features and complexion are similar to those of the two guardians, but more refined.

He has a well trimmed beard like the Beloved Saint Germain. His eyes are purple and His hair falls to his shoulders and is like spun gold. He is attired in pure white clothes and he wears no jewels.

When your turn comes to have the opportunity of meeting Lord Surya face to face, you bow in reverence, and when you lift your head his loving eyes meet yours. He smiles, makes the Sign of the Circle above the Cross and extends his hand to you. When you touch his hand you will feel a sense of acceleration similar to that when you sit upon the atomic accelerator of the Beloved Ascended Master Saint Germain.

When your salutation and his greeting end, he pronounces a short word in a presently unknown language, but you seem to understand it. It means, "Peace be with you!"
