Summer Conference Address
Beloved Sonata
July 12, 1967
Beloved of the Light, permit me to introduce myself, "I AM" Sonata, an Individualization of the Feminine Aspect of Divinity. "I AM" come at the gracious invitation of the Beloved Serapis Bey, Hierarch of Luxor. My natural abode is in the Music Temple around the Sun of the System above the Earth, in the Aura of Beloved Krishna and Sophia.
As you understand it, the meaning of Sonata is a musical composition for one or two instruments, written in three or four movements, each of which is distinct from the other in tempo, but akin in style and key. You can see how my Radiation can be keyed to giving you assistance individually in the activity of aligning and tuning your four lower vehicles into a harmonious whole, where each will vibrate in consonance with its distinct radiation.
As you are all preparing, with a good deal of successful accomplishment for the harmonious performance of your four lower vehicles acting in unison through which the Christ Presence can freely perform the God Service of your individual lifestream in this world of form, we of the Spiritual Hierarchy are rendering every assistance to attune your vehicles to that of Perfection. As you desire to accept the help which I have come to give you, the playing of "Moonlight" Sonata will acquaint you with the Radiation of my Being, for it contains several passages of my Individual Keynote.
Even with the advancement you have made in the Light, few realize the importance of music in the alleviation of the inharmony which has befallen the mankind of this Earth, expressing in all manner of discord.
We were indeed very grateful that you had the group singing practice in the beginning of this Conclave, for not only will it result in the more perfect rendition of your songs but we took that opportunity to bring Angels from the Music Temple in which I serve to assist you in the outpouring of harmonious tones. These Ministering Angels have already done much for you in the blending of your vehicles. At the close of this Conclave they will gather up the accumulated essence of Harmony and dispense it to the peoples of this Planet to bring them into more harmonious accord, one with the other. This is in addition to the daily blessing which shall be their privilege, and there will be a tremendous amplification of this glorious energy at the conclusion of the Meetings.
As I stated in the beginning of this Release, a sonata is for one or two instruments. Witness the simile of the Higher and lower self, the two perfect instruments as created in the beginning for the expressing of God's Gifts in the physical world, and who served in unison before man decided he would like to experiment on his own (the lower self directing without Higher Guidance). However, forgetting that for a perfect performance, the lower self must vibrate with the Perfect Counterpart of the Father-Mother God, who could create only Perfection.
Oh there is so much that can be accomplished through the magnificent avenue of musical expression. It has already been proven, to the outer consciousness of mankind, that music is a harmonizing agent, and when music is applied to certain conditions, a healing activity does take place. This evening when the colored slides will be shown, please pay special attention to the Devas of Music and then in your later application, you can visualize them and invite them to come into your auras. You are aware that every part of life has a tone or vibration and as you further experiment with the activity of Music, you will become acquainted with the tones vibrating about you, and then it will be a relatively simple matter for you to correct dissonant conditions that may express from time to time.
How my Heart longs to have you hear the Heavenly Choirs and the Celestial Symphonies, for once blending your feelings into these glorious Cosmic Tones, the individual benefit which you will receive will surpass your present comprehension. The Beloved Serapis, at whose bidding I have come, is truly a Master Musician and the outpouring of the Seraphic Legions under his direction enthralls even those of us who are accustomed to harmonious outpouring at all times, and their renditions carry us to undreamed of heights, to bask in the effulgent Radiation of the Omnipotent Creator.
You will remember that Beloved Kuthumi, when in embodiment as Pythagoras, taught his pupils the importance of learning the tonal qualities in all life. If it was considered of sufficient importance at that time for the evolution of mankind and the kingdoms abiding upon the Earth, consider how much more so it is now for the expression of the Permanent Golden Age on this Planet! As the great scholar Pythagoras, Beloved Kuthumi established his school at Crotona, and there he taught the science of metempsychosis, or the passing of the soul into another garment, for re-appearance on the physical plane. This is one of the activities which must be taught the younger generation of today, so they will know the Eternalness of Life and not expect abrupt termination at the close of any one embodiment.
Since Beloved Kuthumi is to grace you with his Love and Wisdom this evening, I feel that I might be going into his 'territory' as you would say, so I shall return to the Musical Theme for which I came today.
Now, you have thought much about the physical manifestation of the Sacred Fire upon this Planet as it did in previous Golden Ages. However, your present consciousness has not yet grasped the enormity of the harmonious and dedicated energy which is required and the constancy of purpose to accomplish this truly magnificent Blessing.
Think a moment: As yet the majority of chelas are thrown off balance at the intrusion of any discordant energy which passes their way, whether directly aimed at them as the target, or as part of the effluvia coming to a Focus of Light for transmutation. When I say 'off balance' I do not refer to mental instability, but to the fact that when one or more of the lower garments is the recipient of a vibration which is not akin to its own, the resultant radiation flowing from the set of vehicles gives off an inharmonious tone. This is elementary but must be repeated again and again until harmonious radiation is the natural emanation from your beings.
At this point I shall tell you that my Service is on the Fourth Ray of Perfection, and like my illustrious host, Serapis Bey, I find the most efficacious way to imprint upon the consciousness of the chelas a point of Spiritual Law is to make a simple but potent statement of facts. Although Feminine in nature, this does not necessarily mean that I should couch my words in frilly expression. Yes, I could do that, but I have found through experience for the chelas to realize that "I mean business" that I am well acquainted with the parlance of this Earth.
Ah! I would further like to say the purpose to which I most lovingly direct your attention is "The Father's Business." You well know the affirmation of being about "The Father's Business." In this regard, permit me to commend the chelas on their sincerity of purpose and say that for the most part you are about the Father's Business.
I have come to arouse you to further expansion of your consciousness. You see, one can become quite satisfied when they are going about their daily routine and making certain application for the transmutation of the imperfection in themselves and for the evolutions abiding on the Earth as well. Then what happens? The four lower vehicles become comfortable in their outpouring and decide to jog along in this state of being. There is a danger point here about which I must alert you. Inertia is an insidious thing! No matter how harmonious you may believe you are, if you do not continually make application of one form or another daily, and I say that without tempering the following statement in any way, the worm of spiritual pride tries to rear its ugly head and self-satisfaction is indeed a disintegrating factor in anyone's evolution.
My beloved friends, as yet you do not have any comprehension of the Perfection which you once knew and enjoyed before your fall from Grace! And now that you have risen above the mass consciousness, and I again heartily commend your advancement thus far, there is for the most part a tendency to slow down in your individual efforts. You know that an accomplished musician must continually practice in order that his further performance may be up to standard and always is endeavoring to expand the Perfection, which through his attunement with the harmony of his being, he has brought forth. It is the same in the field of sports, when a competitive activity determines the winner, and when time is of the essence! I state most emphatically, so-called time is running out! And the chela must not permit himself or herself to lean on the oars of present accomplishment. You most assuredly are in competition with the forces of darkness which are traversing the Earth, using the most devious and insidious practices to engulf this Planet. I say dynamically LIGHT SHALL TRIUMPH and you, as Light Bearers of the Almighty, shall straighten the spine of your consciousness and go forward to higher and higher levels of thinking, action and being!
Beloved of the Light, I have come to assist you. Please believe me. "I AM" a Being of tremendous Love - Love of God, the Source of all Life, and Love of the glorious Flame of Immortality which beats your blessed hearts. Can you learn to love me who is so desirous of helping you in your progress in the Light, as indeed I love you and all Expressions of Divinity?
Now tune up your instruments - your vehicles of expression! Beloved Harmony and I shall be most happy to assist you at all times! I truly anticipate the day when you can audibly hear the Music of the Spheres, and through harmonious Radiation, the Sacred Fire itself can be brought to visible manifestation, through the dedicated Love, Constancy and Radiation of devoted chelas such as you! Let the harmonious Radiation of this Class resound in the atmosphere as a paean of Praise to the Supreme Source of All Life!
