The mention of the word "Shepherd" evokes a feeling of respect. One knows that a shepherd of a flock of sheep is an individual who embodies kindliness and understanding, combined with discipline, and tempered by love. 

For many years the Spiritual Hierarchy have referred to the chelas as "The Shepherds of the Race". Following the responsibility which this designation entails, one realizes upon contemplation, that the chela who desires to assist the Spiritual Hierarchy in greater capacity has an avenue open to him to enlighten his fellow traveler on this Earth through dissemination of at least some of the knowledge which he has gleaned through study and application of the Spiritual Law. 

There are many chelas under our direct Instruction who are capable of rendering this assistance to forward the evolution of the peoples of this Planet. 

Capable, certainly, but are they willing? 

A number of chelas in this category seem to be satisfied with absorbing and applying the Instruction received for the benefit of their own lifestreams, and yes, the populace of the Earth, too, through Calls on their behalf. However, the requirement at the present hour is for illumined chelas to instruct other lifestreams who have not been so fortunate as they in receiving the knowledge of the Spiritual Law. 

Some might say, "oh, I do not know anyone with whom I could even discuss the Law." Let us see how discerning you are. At the present time, the majority of the people, in all lands, are asking questions and pondering the whys and wherefores of the activities of life. The knowledgeable chela will be ever alert for a chance query which may pass the lips of his neighbor, acquaintance or friend. When this takes place, the opportunity is presented to kindly make a simple statement of The Law which applies to the query. It is a mistake to engage in a lengthy and involved explanation, unless invited to do so. Kindle the interest of the individual through a thought provoking answer. Be assured when one is sincere in this Service to life, they will find that the reply will readily be 'on the tip of their tongue' as the saying goes. 

The chela will find also that in his daily contacts, socially and otherwise, those opportunities do present themselves for the explanation and discussion of the Spiritual Law of Cause and Effect! 

I bring this to your attention because within the compass of the routine activities of the majority of the chelas, we are cognizant of the fact that many lifestreams are craving for more advanced Spiritual Instruction than it is their present privilege to enjoy. We alert the chelas to this fact so they will be ready, and WILLING, to serve in this capacity. Remember, there are 'sins' of omission as well as commission, and failing to assist one's fellowman, when one has volumes of Spiritual knowledge in his present consciousness, is a sin of omission. 

Engaging the interest and attention of just one lifestream will form the nucleus which can expand and attract others, and the resultant activity can form what is termed a Group. In My Role as World Teacher with the Beloved Jesus, it is my responsibility to arouse sufficient interest in the chelas to make them eager and desirous of forming a Group. 

When an individual completes his education in the outer world Schools of Training, he is expected to put that knowledge to use. Those who have prepared themselves through advanced training have done so to make a career in some specialized field. You, my chelas, have had a highly specialized and advanced training in the Spiritual Law, and it has been given to you so that you will impart that knowledge to others. 

How many of you are going to permit the Shepherd of your own lifestream, your own Beloved "I AM" Presence, to act through you in this particular endeavor, and prepare the way for Class Instruction, serving in the capacity of Group Leader. There are many, many chelas who could do this but seem to be too comfortable in their present manner of serving. I come to you at this hour to arouse your interest, to stimulate you to be on the alert at all times for the glorious opportunity which is yours! 

Your own Beloved "I AM" Presence is in readiness, the Goddess of Opportunity, Beloved Portia, is presenting this privilege to you, and I, Kuthumi, together with Beloved Jesus, am eager to stand by your side as you make the decision to serve in this capacity! 

Are YOU willing to join us and be a part of this vital activity, so necessary at this hour?

Dear Friends: In line with the foregoing invitation of Beloved Kuthumi to join with Him in training of other lifestreams, those of you who are desirous of doing so, after you have  interested another individual, are requested to contact the following Directors for the designated localities, regarding the manner and presentation of the Spiritual Law to others. 

When your decision has been made to follow through on this important plea, do not hesitate to act, for vacillation defeats the purpose!
