The Wesak Festival
May 8, 1966
On the night of the full Moon in the Mystic Month of May, pilgrims from all over Asia, particularly, and some few spiritual seekers from other parts of the world, gather together to receive the Blessings and Benedictions of the Beloved Lord Gautama, whose annual visitation when he was the Buddha, has brought much of the spiritual substance and subtle God-ethers from the Higher Realms into the atmosphere of Earth, where it can be assimilated by the consciousness of the evolving human race.
At the completion of his great Mission, he received permission from the Cosmic Law to return once in every twelve-month cycle and bless the people of Earth. The Members of the Great White Brotherhood and the Illuminati of Earth, responding to the magnetic power of his Love, with only the Light in their own hearts as the compass, start out on a pilgrimage toward the plateau where the Visitation is to take place. There is no map, no guide, no assurance of ultimate success in reaching the goal. Each man depends entirely upon the promptings of his own heart, finds success or failure in his journey. For one pilgrim fortunate enough to come into the Presence of the Masters, thousands return to their homes in disappointment, but the very fact that they have made the pilgrimage has blessed their lifestreams accordingly and built the momentum which will one day be great enough to warrant them an audience with the Holy Ones.
For twenty-four hours before the night of the full moon, the tents of the nomads begin to rise on the plateau and the vast groups of blessed ones begin to gather and meditate and prepare themselves for the Visitation.

This year, 1966, a very significant Ceremony will take place. The great Lord Gautama will journey to India, to the designated place of the Ceremony through which he has for so long touched the hearts of men and imbued them with an accelerated desire to seek the Way back Home.
At the appointed time, Beloved Gautama will be felt and seen, by some, in his own glorious Ascended Master Body, rather than his Luminous Light Presence. This is taking place for a very specific reason. Beloved Gautama will appear in the atmosphere and directly below him, the present Buddha, Lord Divino, will receive through his Being the Power and Love which Gautama has heretofore showered upon the pilgrims; Lord Divino (formerly Lord Maitreya) will in turn send this forth from his Being to bless all who are attuned to the Wesak Festival.
From this time forward, Beloved Divino will be the Officiant at the Festival, having been empowered by the Lord of the World, Gautama, to continue this Service to life.
The Radiation will continue through the 24-hour period. Wise is the chela who, through the heart pull of Pure Love, waking or sleeping, tunes in to this Holy Ceremony. Like the pilgrims of India, the Light within your heart is the magnet which will make you cognizant of the actual Ceremony when it is at its zenith.
Oh gentle Lord Gautama! Thou who didst love Life so much, that renunciation of human pleasures were naught to thee! Thou who didst become that one whom thou adored! Bless the earnest children of Earth who gather together this Holy Night to share in the Sweet Essence of that Spiritual Anointing from thy Sacred Heart of Love!
And now, Beloved Lord Divino, we bow to the Light within your Heart which has signified to the great Gautama that you are now ready to continue this Ceremony in his name!
Our heart's Love flows to you Holy Beings of Light, who dost avail thyselves of every opportunity to expand the Light within the hearts of all!
Oh thou Supreme Source of all life, we bow in reverence and gratitude to the Expressions of thy Light and Love, Ascended and unascended, and we thank thee for the privilege with which thou hast endowed us.
