The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 18,  Number 38                                                                                                              September 20, 1996

Beloved ascending spirits of living light, 

There are a few questions that often come to the minds of many individuals just awakening to the higher spiritual energies: Why do I need the assistance of the ascended masters and other beings of light? Why can't I accomplish my spiritual development by myself? I say to you: Why would you want to, when you can draw upon the strength, wisdom and life experiences of those who have gone before you, easing the difficulties you shall encounter during the process of your spiritual evolution? 

Part of the answer to these questions is born out of the principle of the Oneness of All Life, which also manifests within the qualities of unity and brotherhood. By observing life, this same principle is found within the tiniest elemental lifeform to the greatest of the God free beings. Electrons combine themselves to create the millions of cells that make up the physical bodies within which your soul presently abides, out to and including the stars, galaxies, and the entire universe as well. 

Brotherhood is conscious, willing cooperation between all involved. It is the unification of unique talents and gifts to create and manifest harmony and perfection in the world of form. As we have come to assist and teach, we must be the example of the principles taught, and so must you, my beloved co-servers! We remain within the atmosphere of this dear planet to offer our momentum of God accomplishment. Through our presence in your lives you have come to know that mastery over your own energies is indeed possible and necessary at this time. 

Every infant needs a hand to hold and gather strength from when he starts to take his first steps. Then, when he is confident and strong enough, he gratefully releases his helping hand, and happily walks forward on his own. That is all the help he needs, for deep inside he knows no one else can take these steps for him. 

The same happens to every individual. Through the quality of brotherhood we are always available, stretching forth our hands to teach, counsel, hold, or comfort. However, eventually there comes a point in your evolution when you must reach forth and connect directly with your God Presence, knowing without any doubt that everything you will ever need already exists within yourself and you truly are an integral part of God, just as is all life. 

During the coming week I ask you to meditate on the subject of brotherhood. What is it? How can you more perfectly manifest brotherhood within your four lower vehicles, your family, your co-servers, your friends, and all mankind? As you ponder these many possibilities and improve your service to life, your awareness will ascend to much higher degrees of understanding as you grow stronger in the divine light of your own being! 

Until our next opportunity to be together I charge you with the full gathered momentum of my purity and joy!
