The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 17, Number 10 March 10, 1995
Dear chelas,
Last week I defined and discussed several sacred gifts, and this week I shall continue to share with you some of my ideas, this time from a very different perspective. Each and every one of you have experienced times when you received something beneficial by the accidental error of another person. Perhaps you went to purchase several items at store and for some reason the clerk charged you less or even forgot to charge you for one or more of your items.
You may not have noticed what happened at the time, but when you got home and realized the error, perhaps your thoughts were those of gratitude, as you decided to accept this wonderful gift given to you from the great universal source. You then thought of the times when this happened before and maybe even hoped that it would happen again as it seems to be such an easy way to improve your life.
I would now like to pose the following question to you. What exactly was the gift that you received from God? Was it the material value of the physical item your received due to the error of another, or was it the chance for you to correct this error, thus helping one of your brothers or sisters in the family of man in need of assistance?
Beloved ones, be aware of the many so called 'traps' of the outer world. See them for what they truly are opportunities to learn and grow at many levels of consciousness, for illumination and enlightenment will come to you in many different ways. Some of them will be easy to recognize, but many more will be very subtle, as your consciousness is further refined. For the times this has happened in the past, forgive yourself right now, knowing that with this new awareness, in the future you shall be an even greater guiding light to those with whom you come into contact.
Beloved ones, remember you truly are your 'brother's keeper' and this is but one example of how you must manifest the Christ in action on the physical plane of existence. Be the fullest expression of God that you can be at all times and in every circumstance! This is one of the many tenets that must be followed by a disciple of Holy Spirit. In every case turn your attention to me, for I AM always ready to assist you as you travel along your path.
