My Beloved Chelas of Light, 

Before you move on to other matters, I wish to speak on behalf of the Spiritual Hierarchy of this Earth - and the entire group of World Teachers - in extending our tremendous love and gratitude to Master Kuthumi. The results of his work in creating and applying the comprehensive training program in which our chelas have been engaged this year are now becoming apparent in the auras of the students. The effects of the inner teachings are expressing as an increased radiation of Purity, Unity and Christ Consciousness. 

Achieving a conscious balance between enlightenment and action is a worthy goal to even the most spiritually advanced of students. Many of you are familiar with the differences between Eastern and Western religious beliefs and emphasis. In the East, the greatest emphasis is placed upon stillness and contemplation. On the other hand, many Western religions stress action. The day will soon come when a balance will be achieved that combines the best of both worlds bringing depths of wisdom and compassion into all outer expression. This balance - this unity - shall come through you, beloved ones! 

At the beginning of this year, Gautama told us that the first step in achieving balance in the planetary Threefold Flame, is to achieve such balance in the Heart Flames of our chelas. The steps to Illumined Obedience, when taken consecutively and consis­tently, go far toward fulfilling this goal. As you practice Illumined Obedience, you shall experience ever-increasing periods of perfect at-one-ment with your Holy Christ Self. You will truly feel the "pulsation of the Flame of Divinity" - for the Flame of Divinity is your own Heart Flame in perfect balance, unified under the One Law with the pure and perfect Heart of God! 

At this point in your evolutionary cycle, a great call goes forth from your heart. You are centered within the holy impulse to "know thyself." You feel - not mere curiosity, but a burning desire to become fully conscious of your own Divine Plan. Having glimpsed the exactitude of Divine Order, you have begun to realize that there is a perfect work to be done, that is yours and yours alone! There is one perfect note to be played by your lifestream, before the Universal Symphony may be complete! Once the student has experienced moments of sublime unity with the Inner Christ, the question he asks is: Beloved Presence of God I AM - how may I best serve Thee? 

If you have found yourself asking this question, I wish to encourage you to accept the assistance which is available to you at the Grand Teton Retreat - home to the Temple of the Great White Brotherhood. The activities at the Teton Retreat are vast in scope, and involve many, many brothers and sisters who work under the direction of the Chohans of all seven Rays. The teaching focus here is among the first to be visited by any lifestream who is consciously seeking to discover his or her particular areas of service. 

When a chela requests the opportunity to visit our Retreat for such a purpose, he or she is placed under the supervision of a Brother of the Golden Robe. Enfolded in a radiation of Wisdom and Enlightenment, the chela is guided among the seven Great Temples, each of which is dedicated to the activities of one of the Seven Rays. The chela then spends time in each of these Great Temples, learning about the various pursuits and projects which are undertaken by the members of the Great White Brotherhood who serve there. The chela also engages in periods of contemplation in each Temple, absorbing and assimilating the Essence of each Ray. 

This process of discovery is customarily undertaken by the chela in his or her finer bodies, while the physical vehicle is at rest. There are occasions, however - if the chela has entered deeply into the Great Silence - when some of this activity may take place on a more conscious level. In any case, the enlightenment gained will begin to manifest consciously, in the form of an increased attraction to a specific area of service or Divine Attribute. As the chela proceeds to seek the Silence every day, his or her pre-ordained area of service will become apparent.

This is our joy, my friends, for as you become attuned to your own Divinity, our Flame of Precipitation moves through you to perform the same service for all humankind!
