The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 11, Number 39                                                                                        September 25th, 1989

Beloved Disciples,

So many times, when your hearts are troubled by situations that have come into your lives, the call goes forth for specific advice.

Dear ones, as your Teacher, my Love and Comfort always flows forth in response to your every request. However - as with any equation which is set before you-as a student, if the teacher gives the answer, you have not learned the process by which the equation may be solved.

Progress upon the path is based upon your willingness to seek your own solutions. This also explains the reason why another part of life cannot solve your problems. To do so would rob you of all possibility to achieve mastery over your own energy.

If you realized and could describe your problem to another person - and that person could give you the answer - you would still lack the ability to solve your problem. This only means that the very same problem would recur.

Have you not - in your past experiences, sought advice-only to hear one opinion from one person, and a second from another, and still a third from another well-meaning person, until you found yourself lost in total confusion as to which opinion - if any - to follow? I do not indicate that you should never seek advice, but if you feel only confusion as a result, it means you have not yet understood you own problem. 

Between the problem and the solution lies the principle, and until the principle is discovered, no problem is lastingly solved. This is why we to not interfere with the personal consciousness of those as yet unascended. Rather, we give of our understanding, our wisdom, and the sustaining power of our Love to strengthen you as you seek the principle involved in your individual situations. Thus, when you find the 'cause and core' of any problematic situation, you must solve it for yourself, and another step in personal mastery is achieved.

I bless you with the sustaining power of my Love and Peace, and you move ever forward into the Light!
