The Shamballa Letter
VOLUME 11, Number 40 October 3rd, 1989
Beloved Chelas:
So many times I hear you use the term 'to go back home', in reference to returning to the God Consciousness from which you came into the world of form. The statement is somewhat of a dichotomy, in that - as you intend it - it is true, but that it may also be misunderstood by the etheric body. The etheric consciousness, as you are aware, acts to release information to you upon your conscious command. However, it is important to keep in mind that it acts - not from a 'reasoning' standpoint, but from a literal translation of the commands it receives through your consciousness.
Through the years that we have been working with you, we have always advised that you do all spiritual work in the 'present' experience, so that your course is always set to move forward into Light. I AM sure that this is your intent, but the etheric body may easily misinterpret a command based on the actual words in which that command is given.
Let me take a moment to describe the actual 'movement' that you are taking as you go forward on your spiritual path. I have spoken about the 'Law of the Circle'. This Law is actually a spiraling movement, so that you are always moving in a circular fashion, but at higher levels of consciousness each time that you have completed a full circle.
As a lifestream completes the cycle of embodiments required to gain mastery over all the use of the energy which has been allotted him, he does - in fact - return 'home'. However, as you can see by my explanation, he has not gone 'back', but rather - forward!
There are times upon your path when it may be necessary to reveal some event from a past incarnation to you, as an individual. The only safe way that this can be done is under the direct assistance of a member of the Ascended Host. The man who seeks his past for the wrong reason may find it, and it could be to his sorrow! You have all heard of 'the dweller on the threshold', and be reminded that this is not one you care to meet.
Under the supervision of the Ascended Masters and the Karmic Board, you are always given whatever remembrance you may need, but it will be given gently and carefully, with the full intention of helping you in your forward movement into the Light!
