Beloved Disciples of Holy Spirit,

Many of you wonder 'what is a keynote?' A keynote is like your signature... it is specific to each life form. All living Beings have a keynote... not just the Masters of Light.

The Cosmic Law of Harmony causes a multiple sound to go forth whenever a single note is struck. There are specific sounds which 'harmonize', so that, in a sense, you can never make a single or simple note. It will always carry its complements with it although they may be more subtle.

Even as I teach you, I know that I ask much of you, but it is very necessary that each chela must purify their own keynote, and you must clarify your colors.

Take this moment... come with me in consciousness. Just enter quietly into your Heart Flame. Listen... hear the voice of the Silence, for the great Silence always pulsates with Life... with all there is (although it is unspecified at its center). It is Life, containing all, being all, but at a point of totality within itself. It is a point of perfect rest in motion.

When you truly enter the Silence, you will experience it not to be 'nothingness' as sometimes taught. It is, rather, 'all-ness', but at a perfect point of rest at its center.

Do not be discouraged if you cannot consciously accomplish this for a time. 'Time' is not the real subject, but the great Silence is. At your inner levels you are always permitted this experience. It is the inner memory of this that constantly urges the chelas onward.

Take time to sit quietly now and then - but this is mostly for conscious practice. Once experienced at a conscious level, it is never to be forgotten, even from lifetime to lifetime, should that be necessary. True meditation and contemplation... 'constant prayer', becomes a way of life. It is the great Silence from which you will always move... consciously... at your point of Mastery.
