The Shamballa Letter

All of the God Qualities and expressions of virtue are relative. That is to say, they are determined by the capacity within the lifestream to release from its own bounty the richness received of it from the Fount of all Life. For example, the Light released by the Sun is of tremendously greater volume than the Light of the Star or the diminutive firefly. The Law governing creation, however, requires of a man that his virtues fill the Universe according to his capacity. This capacity to serve, to Love, to release Light, is the determining factor by which the Christus and the Hierarchy measure the progress or retrogression of the individualized God-Focus within man. 

Neither God nor highly developed man can expect more from any lifestream than his innate capabilities and capacities will allow, and thus the very timid soul Light of one person might be the best that lifestream can offer, whereas a much larger outpouring of Light from another more evolved and responsible lifestream might fall far short of the minimum requirement of Universal benefit which that lifestream could offer to the Universe to return balance for Good received.  

No man should endeavor to serve beyond his capacity – in other words, when the equipoise and balance of the spiritual nature is disturbed the individual should seek that balance before expending his Life Wave on the altar of humanity. However, the man makes it his personal responsibility to hold that poise and balance through application, thus increasing his capacity to serve. The third dimensional world does not require of an infant the balance to Life in the form of some constructive service to enrich humanity’s cause other than the happy release of joyous energy which forms a buoyancy upon which the older and more weighted lifestreams feed.  

After a man or woman has achieved his majority and certain benefits of social education, civilization and mercy have enriched his consciousness, he is required, even in the outer world, to balance to Life through some performance or constructive endeavor the expenditures of energy through other human beings in the form of teachers, physicians, on and on, which has increased his capacity to serve.  

A moment’s introspection will therefore show you that any individual who has received the Instruction, Radiation and Blessing of the Spiritual Hierarchy has, by accepting such instruction, increased his capacity to Life for a greater minimum of service than the mankind of Earth whose capacities have not been intensified by such blessed illumination.
