The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME II, Number 44                                                                                                           October 28, 1980

Beloved Paul - the Maha Chohan: 

As soon as an individual envelopes itself in a soul and starts through the long journey of experience, it begins to use thought and feeling. Every time these two Flames are blended, creation of some sort takes place, and in the consciousness is stored a form of substance, shape, vibration and radiation which is destined by its own weight to one day press through, as the water pressed through the cloud that holds it and forms rain. All these forms wait birth or externalization into the individual’s world in the same manner that the soul waits birth at the door of incarnation.  

As the Lords of Karma determine the time and place in which the soul may become clothed in the garments of the outer octave, so does the Holy Christ Self, which is the Lord of each one’s own life, represent the authority which allows only so much of the store of consciousness to externalize in any given embodiment, lest the weight of misused energy be too great for the Light and capacities of the soul. That is why it is said “The Lord prepares the back for the burden.” 

In the earlier Dispensation it was necessary to empty this karmic bag and let the soul by the process of experiencing the externalization of its thought and feeling creation resolve itself to a more constructive designing of the life force. This accounts for all the terrific initiations and experiences that were upon the occult path. Each applicant carrying his own great bag of secret ‘shames’ knew not until the Cosmic Force, such application set into motion, opened the bag so to speak, what was the individual heritage. 

The Masters and Hierophants, particularly in Egypt, often refused applicants because the Inner Sight knowing the invisible horrors that they carried, felt their Light not strong enough to battle the full fury of the misused creative energies. Today the old cycle has closed, the New Dispensation is here. The only requisite for the chela is to learn that thought and feeling are creative forces, and then to begin to design through that principle consciously, and externalize in a constructive series of creative steps some idea of the heart and mind. When this requisite is filled, the individual may be cut free from his karmic debt and through the use of the Flame and Sacred Fire dissolve the unborn creatures before they throw their ugly image upon the screen of maya. 

This will not only tremendously assist the chela but will assist the externalization of the Permanent Golden Age, because such individual outpouring the karmic malcreations adds to the weight of the whole, and as the contributors to this world image are no longer required to throw the contents of their consciousness into the ‘community cup’, we will find the assistance of the Cosmic Cleansers (the mighty Flames of Transmutation and Purification) shall greatly accelerate the fulfillment of the Golden Age in all its Perfection.
