Beloved Chelas:
Within the conscious chela the Spirit Spark has taken and become a Perfect Being with contour and line - a replica of the Christ Being who lives and dwells in the Fourth Dimension. This little Being begins to grow within the physical body, and the pressure of its Presence expands with its development.
In the activity of contacting the feeling of Love for instance, it is possible for any Ascended Master to step into this Golden Figure upon request, and give you the impetus, power and release of his Cosmic Feeling, which directed toward any individual or circumstance becomes the Master Control until you have gained confidence in your power to call this Infinite, Majestic Presence thru yourself to regulate outer conditions for you. You have been told to call this Infinite God Power forth to do the work... "I AM" the Doer, "I AM" the Doing, and "I AM" the Deed."
A constant and conscious reminder to set the God Flame into motion is required of the intellectual self to keep it from claiming authority and power over energies which are bound to cause distress. I MUST DECREASE THAT THIS INFINITE FLAMING PRESENCE MAY INCREASE.
This is the sum and substance of the instruction of harmlessness and selflessness, which is the training of the Ceylon Retreat to those who care to apply for understanding and membership. Now harmlessness is not passive but a positive activity, and this is the Spirit of God that abides within the hearts of all men... but it is called forth by too few.
The intellectual self of the conscious chela is aware of the Flame which abides in the Heart of the "I AM" Presence, and it is not held guiltless before life when the Flame is not employed - just as the knowledge and gifts and powers delegated by the presence to man become an obligation, and their employment is the balance to Life for the delegation of those Gifts.
