Beloved Chelas: 

The development and unfoldment of the Completed God-Being whose vehicles and instruments of expression are "full-blown" is the matter of many thousands of centuries of care, protection and nourishment. 

As the full grown fruit tree has passed many states before it is ready to manifest its mature service to Life with branches laden with the Universal Light Substance molded into a particular delicacy of form, so does the Ascended Master in the Consciousness of Divine Illumination, develop and radiate the Pure Life Energy of the Universe in some particular fashion, to enrich the chain in which he belongs. 

The tender shoot and sapling receives constantly from Nature but is required to return no balance until its maturity is manifest. Nature is willing to invest Water, Air, Sun and Earth, patient in the knowledge of a future yield. The yield will be impersonally beneficial to some members of the race which will enjoy the temporary enrichment of the fruit. 

In like manner, the Kingdom of Nature, the Forces of the Elements and uncountable Legions of the Ascended Host willingly invest thousands of centuries in the preparation of the God-Man whose fruit - not temporary and passing, but Eternal - will nourish the race in some future day. 

The wise husbandman, serene in the knowledge of future crops, condemns not the timid and docile first shoots, but gives to them as lovingly his care as he does to the great mature orchards whose yield is a manifest expression of their worth. Those who serve in the kingdom must, in like manner, take the long view, and patiently and selflessly, and constantly, prepare each lifestream for the Future Yield.
