Beloved Chelas: 

Well, I presume you think that the lessons which I release to you always contain an element of work! Let us change that concept to service! 

Service is a very rewarding activity and when one is permitted to serve with the Spiritual Hierarchy in the redemption of the Earth and her evolutions, the experience should be one of deep gratitude. 

Oh yes, some of you think of the instruction in that manner but be honest with yourselves, there are many times when you allow the thought to enter in, "if I give the Decrees which I am asked to, I will have to be constantly making calls". Ah, that is an erroneous impression and does not come from the Christ within but from the lethargic human self, lethargic when it comes to throwing off the ways of living to which it has become accustomed. 

The chelas under our guidance should by this time realize that they are in the schoolroom of experience on this Planet, and when they are asked from time to time to assist in correcting existing imperfect conditions, the requirement of the hour has to be taken into consideration. When one attends the classes in the Halls of Learning of the outer world, they learn the language of their Nation, history, arithmetic, algebra, the arts and many other phases of instruction which come under the heading of 'education' which result in the illumination of the consciousness. One cannot cram all knowledge into one day, neither is one expected to use all the Instruction which we give you in a 24-hour period, but the accumulation of God instruction results in a storehouse of God Principles which can be used according to the requirement of the hour, even as the instruction received in the grade, high school, and college serves its specific purpose as one travels along the path of life. 

Just remember always, that you are serving with the Spiritual Hierarchy for your own Freedom as well as that of the Planet, and there is no drudgery involved in happy service.
