Beloved Travelers on the Path: 

The law of energy and the law of vibration are truly the basis for all religious illumination and scientific application. Life-Energy in itself is subject to the will of the individual who, desiring to express actively sets up an inner cause. This cause is a vibration or a motion of energy that begins to pulsate by reason of the individuals presence in the Universe, and the energy which pulsates would not move at the time and in that pattern unless the individual self-consciously chose to re-arrange the electrons that make up the energy in some conscious or unconscious pattern which forms a cause, and of course its resultant effect. 

The moment a self-conscious being has set up the first cause he has changed the pattern of the entire universe to which he belongs, because that cause vibrating outward must, of necessity, manifest an effect of one type or another, and that effect in turn will set up succeeding causes. He has consciously or unconsciously become a creator, but not yet a Master. Now many beings shrink from creating causes, and prefer to live in almost unconscious life, because the tremendous effort behind setting vibration into motion and handling the return current of the energy seems more strenuous than the life-stream chooses to experience. 

On the other hand individuals of a very energetic and positive nature create many, many causes and by the very positive use of life are subject to the return energy with greater pressure in both its beneficent and malefic effects. 

The purpose of teaching the individual through the use of energy how to create those causes that have only beneficial effects is to ultimately develop Master Being who can proceed with the creation and sustenance of life intelligences in the great universal scheme of things. But after a time we begin to mature in consciousness, where our causes are more carefully chosen and where we endeavor to move through life affecting the Universe around us in only such a manner as will benefit ourselves and the whole. We are not so prolific in the use of life - we are more willing to rest our inner bodies, and the creation of causes does not become an hourly activity. When we come to this point, or endeavor to achieve it, our aura takes on a distinctly different vibration, and it becomes a state that Saint Germain describes well as one of 'rest in action'. When an individual enters the aura of the maturing lifestream where the energy-waves are not in constant motion, one feels the symmetry and ease, and a peace, and then through the lifestream of the developing individual a cause when set up, is more powerful, potent and lasting than the immature children of youth. 

Let us remember that it is not only the physical body, but the emotional, mental and etheric entities, that through force of habit or evolution, are prone to create a constant bombardment of the Universe: These little causes sooner or later must come under control of the 'Peace Commanding Presence' in the heart, and the God-Self realizing that we are re-arranging the entire emanation of all our bodies, will assist us to expand some definite purpose expressive of the One.
