Blessed Chelas: 

The Flame Substance and Consciousness of an Ascended Being is a tremendous concentrated Focus of God-energy which, when invoked, pours itself forth like a great Sun into the cups offered in the invocation. This substance and radiation of the master is a quickening, vibrant; accelerating Light that enters the inner bodies of individuals and sets up a new energy-pattern within the vibratory action to what they are accustomed. The new energy pattern, being stronger than the personality's previous vibratory action, all of the inner bodies begin to flow with that Light-substance of self-luminosity drawn by the master at the call of any sincere determined individual. This causes an inner experience by which the soul and personality feels a greater Oneness with the Godhead and comes closer to the Ascended Master Consciousness than his previous vibratory action would allow. 

While the vibratory action of the inner bodies is pulsating with the Keynote of the "Master's Flame and Ray, they are privileged to comprehend what is within their own capacity to become, and at the withdrawal of the master's flame, although the vibratory action will not retain the fullness of the temporary acceleration, there is a permanent forward impulse to all the inner bodies which is of tremendous importance to the soul growth of the individual. 

You will find again and again in the instructions the statement that the Flame Substance and Self-luminosity of the master must fill the inner bodies of the students before they can attain certain achievement, because this Flame and Substance is a quickening, accelerating power that raises the consciousness and inner vehicles, and a man's evolution depends wholly upon the vibratory action and sustained through conscious effort by the vehicles, because his every Earth experience is an outpicturing of the sphere in which one or more of his bodies is vibrating at any given moment. Now if you could secure the sustained vibratory action of harmony, purity, peace, understanding and tolerance, many of the vicissitudes of the Earth-life would be avoided, because by the very nature of the vibrations of your vehicles you could not tune into or become one with the vibrations of a carnal or discordant nature. 

You will remember that in a recent BULLETIN we stressed the fact that the Ascended Masters are permitted at this time to give the chelas special assistance through the Flame and Ray of the Ascended Master. Wise is he who avails himself of this privilege!
