My dear Children:

From the busy outer activities of each day if the chela would endeavor to time and again take five minutes and draw a deep breath into his body, feeling that he is drawing in the Christ Spirit, the lightness and happiness of the air (for, think, how short a time can a man live without air), the light of the Sun and its life-giving properties, and then holding that breath within his body, feel it course through his nerve's, his arteries, his blood, like the elixir of life or the living water of the Fountain of Youth, which it is, then allowing that breath to be returned to the Universe, with his blessing for the use of it, he would find an ever present source of strength and comfort in this exercise.

This gives a certain detachment from the consciousness of the world of men. It puts the chela in a position where he might draw much greater strength and peace and balance from the Kingdom of Nature; which has been the cathedral for many, many embodiments of a great number of my present-day chelas.

The daily use of this rhythmic breath raises the chela from the crouching attitude of Israel's children at the mountain's base. It is akin to the scaling the Mount to the silent, radiant summit where we meet God face to face and converse with him as our teacher, brother, or shepherd in unrestrained familiarity.

Well known to mountain climbers and to all who live on the higher places on the Earth's surface is the use of rhythmic breath, because they could not raise and conduct their heavy body vehicles so far above the gravity pull of Earth without the conscious control of this breath.

The balancing and control of the breath purifies the bodies, raises the consciousness, illumines the wind and frees the spirit from the fetters of human thinking. Be constant in its use, dear ones, and see what it will do for you:

Love and Blessings,

THE MAHA CHOHAN
