The Shamballa Letter

VOLUME 20, Number 37                                                                                                              September 10, 2001

Dear chelas,

Are you now beginning to see yourself in the image and likeness of your Mother-Father God? Are you also able to see others in this same Divine Light? If not do not find fault with yourself. Instead continue with the task I have given you and remember to praise yourself for your constancy in this very important and necessary endeavor of healing yourself, your whole self, so that you can ultimately become one with God and all life.

Perception is a wonderful gift beloved ones. It has so many aspects! One's perception usually begins as simple observations of what is taking place around you as you move through life. As your ability to use this skill expands, it develops into a feeling or awareness which allows you to become more sensitive to what is taking place both within and around you. As you continue to grow, almost daily you will collect many new insights which in turn will assist you to discern life events more fully allowing you to reach ever higher levels of consciousness.

This week I would like to share with you a wonderful example of how one's perception is ever-changing. I will use as my model a student, any student who has studied a subject diligently for some time. Before the student's level of perception concerning knowledge has reached a certain level, there usually comes a point when he turns to a fellow student and says: "I have finally learned everything there is to know about this subject!" Whenever those of us in the higher realms hear this so often overused declaration we smile broadly, nod our heads in agreement and wait. We wait because we know, even before the words have left the mouth of this truly unenlightened one, without exception his perception concerning this very important aspect of self mastery and search for wisdom will very soon change, that is if his mind and heart continues to remain open.

Beloved one, your spiritual perception is constantly changing because you are constantly changing, constantly experiencing new things which continuously add to and revise how you perceive life. And so it is with so much of the information given in the past. I would like to make it clear that this does not negate teachings previously received. Just the opposite is true, the information is taken to the next level of your understanding. So with this gentle reminder and beautiful affirmation open your consciousness and allow it to expand and embrace what may seem to be new thoughts and ideas so that you may always see yourself in the image and likeness of our Mother-Father God. So be it!

Master Kuthumi
