The Shamballa Letter

Dear chelas,
One of the most important steps in your preparation to directly communicate with God, but often the most neglected, is the great gift of protection. Too many times to count, I have heard students say: "I'm working with the realms of light so there is nothing I need to protect myself against!" Ah, beloved ones, this is a perfect example of the mind set the lesser forces are always looking for in the children of Earth. They prefer to use just such an opening to expand their negativity throughout the planet because so often they find very little or no resistance. In fact, the student often welcomes their attempts because they are not recognized for who and what they are. And anyone naive enough to think this is not the case should take a very close look at their own spiritual progress.
Of course the realms of light are divine and perfect, but what one has to pass through to get there is another matter all together. I ask you: Is everything on the earth plane all light and love? As much as we would all like to have it be it is not quite so yet. The same is the case in the various levels of the astral plane. Throughout these realms there are many confused disembodied souls, negative entities and various lifeforms who consciously choose to work with the lesser forces of the universe who are just waiting for an unprotected lifestream to unknowingly do their 'dirty work' for them.
Take for example the following: do you not realize that whenever you invite Saint Germain, El Morya, or myself into your lives there are limitless numbers of 'pretenders' just waiting to answer your every call to the Light. They come, whispering sweet nothings in your ear, telling you they know what you are going through and have many ways to help, if only you will accept their assistance and guidance in your life. Oh, be assured they will tell you everything you want to hear and it will certainly sound like the truth. And only if you are very lucky, something they share with you one day will not ring true and you may begin to question their validity. At that time be assured they will increase their communications, they will probably say things like what they are sharing with you only you can understand; you are so special, you are on Earth to do great things...
On and on they will continue in their deception, that is, until you consciously draw your cloak of protection tightly around you and take up your sword and shield of protection. For only then can you rise to the highest heights and open yourself fully to our Mother-Father God and their Light will flood your being. Throughout this month I ask that you focus your attention upon the quality of protection and its many gifts. Work especially with the Mantle of Light decree as I continue to share some of my insights and observations concerning this topic.
