Beloved Chelas,

It was with deep Love and Respect for all life that I graciously accepted the request to act as a sponsor for this year of 1991. My great Joy in Service as one of the participants in the Shamballa Letter during the previous year brought me the realization that a tremendous momentum was being established, which could be greatly increased with my continued assistance this year.

It might interest you to know that an Ascended Master or other Cosmic Being may either volunteer for service with an Activity of Light, or such service may be requested of them, should their special gifts or services be needed. If One of us desires to serve, sometimes having a particular plan in mind, or perhaps just feeling the need for our gifts, we may approach the Being in charge of that Activity and offer to help. In the case of the Bridge to Spiritual Freedom Activity, Beloved El Morya is the one to whom we speak, as the Bridge is one of his special interests.

As I AM a member of the Karmic Board, there is frequent contact with those Beings who have particular investments of their life energies in various Activities of Light upon the planet Earth. Master El Morya is always present at Our bi-yearly Councils held at the Grand Teton Retreat, as is Saint Germain. Often, they have projects together through which they hope to benefit the Earth.

We meet―upon occasion―at other times, but this is rare. Only in the case of unusually difficult stress situations upon the Earth plane does this take place. If this occurs, a special meeting may be held. As I have indicated, this is extremely rare, as each of the members also have their special endeavors and interests which must be fulfilled, as well.

Nevertheless, being a Member of the Karmic Board carries the great responsibility of being in constant inner contact with all those Beings of Light who are rendering service to the planet in some way. In that way, if there is some special need, we are aware immediately, and a great deal of work may take place between the members of the Board and the Masters who make calls on behalf of the Earth, without actually meeting.

It was in response to such a call that some of Us wrote to you all during the year just past, having been made aware of the deep desire for expanded understanding projected by the Maha Chohan to Us on behalf of the chelas.

This is the briefest possible explanation I will present about this subject at this time. I want you to know how much Love surrounds you from so many Beings of Light! It would not be possible to give you a greatly expanded realization of this Love, as it would be too great for you to "bear". It is so beautiful! If you could but see the Aura of Master El Morya alone, it could not be encompassed within the finite human understanding. In my sharing with you to this small extent, I know it will remind you to say "thank you" to this dear Friend for all he gives constantly to you, The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom, and to all life on the Earth.

It is my desire at this time that you turn your attention to an aspect of Love which I have had to handle many, many times, and I know that each of you have been made aware of the same aspect over the many lifetimes you have had upon the Earth.

How often have you come into contact with a lifestream who states that they belong to a particular Ray, or follow a certain spiritual teaching, and yet―by all outer appearances and actions, you wonder how this is possible? I want you to realize that they may have chosen, before they came into embodiment, to walk a very difficult path indeed. They have come to outpicture the so-called negative aspects of a Ray or of a spiritual activity, so that those who meet them along the way may pass through the initiation of disillusionment if they so desire.

This is a difficult initiation, though a very necessary one. Until one gives up the illusions, there is no possibility of perceiving the truth. This applies to all situations and circumstances in your lives, for there are illusions connected to all experiences. Once you stand free of these illusions, you have the greater opportunity before you, which is that of creating a Path of Love.

I know that it is not easy to learn how to deal with these people without judgment. Accept them with Love by, overcoming the barriers of resistance which they set up. You must learn to see through their difficult attitudes and actions with the eyes of Divine Love. Is it not true that many of the best learned lessons are sometimes the hardest? You tend to consider a difficult problem more often and put more thought and attention into it, working harder at finding a solution. When the answer does not come easily, it remains deeply etched in your consciousness.

It is not that, WE desire that your life be one of difficulty! Quite the opposite is true―but at times it is necessary to learn a lesson in a certain way. Often you may find yourself in the company of a person who complains bitterly about the lack of freedom on the planet, and the poor economic situations. Yet, it seems that they will work to sustain the very situations―about which they complain so bitterly―with their every thought, word, and action, When this happens, you will work all the harder to overcome, even though you may encounter some personal difficulty relating to such an individual.

I want you to know that each time you can step above your personal thoughts and ideas concerning other people, having only the realization that they truly need our love and compassion for their service to life―no matter what the outer appearance may be―you have learned an important lesson. Please take heart, and keep your courage high. One of the important signs that you are rising above such difficulties is when you are able to say "thank you, God, for the presence of this person in my life, and the freedom from illusion they have brought me!" This, my dear ones, is True Mastery over human creation!
