The consensus of opinion is an entity of such formidable mien that few there be among the sons and daughters of God walking this Earth who will dare to "come out from among them and be different" as the Master Jesus commanded. Humanity is sheep-like in his submission to the thoughts and feelings and actions of the masses. And yet — every great soul that ever prodded the slowly moving evolution of the Planet into greater progress and enlightenment had to have the courage to stand alone against this consensus of opinion — to tear the veils of darkness from some hidden truth, revealing that Truth to a startled, bewildered and very skeptical and resentful world.

Let us then, as we speak glowingly of the great Columbus (our beloved Ascended Master Saint Germain) think of that man in terms of a contemporary — looked upon by the wise man of his day as a prattling fool, who sailed across the grey Atlantic amid the sneers and ridicules of his fellows... who died penniless and broken in prison.
