My beloved sisters and brothers,

Let me begin by wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy, safe and prosperous new year! As of the conference to welcome the new year of 2002, I believe all in attendance and those of you who were connected by ties of Light, will agree with me when I say that there is now a new energy, a new vibration, and a new consciousness firmly anchored within the organization of The Bridge To Spiritual Freedom and the planet Earth which is already beginning to affect the chelas and the world around us in a very profound way. It is so powerful, so loving and so wise that this energy, vibration and consciousness will surely have a tremendous influence, not only during the next twelve months but for many years to come!

In conjunction with the New Year Conference, a three day symposium was also held and many items of importance were discussed by all present. Due to the joint decisions of the group several changes will be implemented immediately. All in attendance agreed that a new and expanded publication program is needed and the only way to do this and more rapidly fulfill beloved El Morya's request is to simplify the work here at Headquarters.

For this reason as of January the service schedule here at Shamballa is reduced. We will be holding only the Cup Service on the first Sunday of each month. We encourage all chelas to purchase the recently published 2 Volume Peace Service Book and the Transmission Flame Service Book and regularly give these services individually or in small groups to continue the work to bring peace and unity to our planet.

Please be aware that working in this manner will also further another one of our goals, that of strengthening the Body of Light. For your convenience you will find an order form for these books included with this magazine.

Also we have changed the conference schedule. As of this January there will no longer be a Spring or Easter Conference. We will continue to hold the New Year Conference to release the energy of the current year and anchor the energy of the incoming year. We will also continue the hold our week long symposium. However, instead of holding it in September in conjunction with the Bridge's birthday, it will now be held during the last week of June to coincide with the Petition Services.

There is also another big change that you will not notice until April of this year when you receive the April- June Bridge Journal. The decision was made to go from the small booklet form we are all used to, to an 8 1/2 by 11 inch format. We will also again include invocations, decrees, visualizations and benedictions in the magazine along with our teachings so those of you who give services will have additional material from which to draw upon in preparing your services. This one simple change will cut the time required to put the Journal together in half, again allowing the staff to focus on other publications. It will also make it easier for directors to use the material contained within the Journal in their services as many currently use an 8 1/2 by 11 inch format when preparing them. For those of you who are unable to acquire this size binder, they are available through the Gift Shop.

There is also another change within the Staff. Joanne Viola is no longer working at Headquarters but be assured that the work she was involved in will continue to be taken care of by Cathie Lamb and myself. Also, if you recall I stated in my letter of October 15, 2001 that the plaintiffs do have the right to appeal the Judge's decision if they choose to do so and they did file a notice to appeal in late November. They now have an automatic 6 month period of time to prepare their appeal. As I stated before, I now say again: "I and the rest of the Executive Council have put this whole matter in God's Hands and in the hands of our very capable attorney knowing that all is well, all is very, very well."

Before closing, I would like to share the new Group Petition to the Karmic Board for December 2001 which we will be using at least until their next meeting in June. Please feel free to incorporate this powerful petition in your individual and group work:

From within the luminous Presence of God and through the creative fire pulsating in every heart all cosmic and human energies flow forth, unite and support the manifestation of Oneness, the Peace Giving Presence of God I AM within the minds and hearts of all life. Within the power of all who are willing to do God's Will the scales of justice are now balanced and Earth's Divine Plan quietly and gently unfolds.

As we continually progress along the path of the middle way, strengthening the bridge between God and humanity, we powerfully and faithfully affirm that Love is the only power that can act in resolving the seeds of disharmony and sources of illusion which attempt to divide us one from the other. Now, joining our voices with all beings of Light everywhere we declare:

I AM the shining example of Divine Peace and Unity for all life! (3x) 

And I AM grateful! So be it, beloved I AM!

As you can see, many aspects of last year's thoughtform and theme are incorporated in this powerful appeal, for which I'm happy to see since I wasn't quite ready to let them go yet. So now, not only does the new thoughtform and theme build upon the previous ones, we are also incorporating and unifying the energies of both years more perfectly.

Finally, beginning back on September 11^th those present at the Symposium began working with several decrees. Not only did we use the Decree for Assistance & the Decree for Protection that you will find in this Journal we also took several from the Decree Book: Decree 3-01, Law of Forgiveness; Decree 8-06, Call for Divine Government; Decree 10-05, Assuring all Departed Souls Passage into the Light; Decree 10-06, Liberation and the Law of Detachment and Decree 2-07, the Decree for Beloved Sirius and the Will of God. We found this a very powerful way to work for the healing of the energies created that day and those that continue to be created. We now invite you to work with them also, beloved ones.
