Message from the President

My beloved co-servers,

Contained within the Theme for this new and glorious year are the following two statements which shall serve as the mantra for the next twelve month period for the chelas of The Bridge to Spiritual Freedom and others who wish to join us. The first is: "I have perfect faith in God's Will to direct me in everything I do! And to complete this blessed song of salvation: For this reason, I shall remain silent to perceive God's Will and shall not act until my direction is clear!"

Beloved ones, have you found yourself asking what exactly these simple and sacred words mean? I certainly have and I would like to share with you a few ideas to ponder just in case you are questioning these two very important divine principles as well.

Having taken some time out of my very busy schedule to meditate upon and contemplate the significance of these words I now know, without any doubt, I do have perfect faith in God's Will to direct me in everything I do! I know this now for deep within the silence of my heart, I looked back over every detail of this lifetime. As I did I realized that no matter what the outer appearance or condition, even those times I could not possibly relate what I was going through or observing around me as the Will of our Mother-Father God, eventually I did learn to fully have moments when I question the Will of God for I also fully understand it is good to question, and question often, for much can be learned from doing so as we walk our spiritual paths.

Every time I was aware that a beautiful, healthy baby was being born into a happy, welcoming home; every time I beheld the beauty of the elemental kingdom that always surrounds me; every time I saw the divine gifts of compassion and love flow forth through the actions of another; and every time a magnificent human being entered my life and we were able to walk the path of life together for awhile, it was easy to see and accept that these things were the Will of God.

I admit it was not quite so easy to perceive the Will of God every time I noticed individuals being picked on, ridiculed or discriminated against by others; every time I perceived that the words spoken by another were not spoken in truth; every time I observed poverty, illness or especially the death of a child and, yes, every time war broke out throughout the world; I often had to ask "God, please help me! Where is Your Will in all these things?"

I now understand that everything was, is and always shall be the Will of God, because God's Will for humanity is our attainment of mastery as we seek our path back 'Home' and this can only take place through the divine gift of free will choice. Beloved ones, in each and every situation in our lives we do have a choice! Who we choose to be, what we choose to do and how we choose to do it is up to each and every one of us.

I agree there are many components¾the circumstances of our birth: who our parents are, where we live, the amount of financial security we have in our lives; how we were brought up: the perimeters and boundaries placed upon us by such things as race, religion and culture, the level of education we receive, the love and affection we are given or the lack thereof. Yes, all of these things and more are factors but ultimately, it is we who choose!

We chose our parents before embodiment. We were shown the basic path we were to follow and, still, we chose to come to Earth anyway. Each and every day of our lives we make too many choices to keep track of. Someday, we will even come to a point where our ascension is assured. And guess what, we will have a choice to make then. Will we remain to assist our sisters and brothers from the earthplane or will we move on and serve in other realms? Our choices shall and will continue forever...

For this reason, it is also of the utmost importance to remain silent to perceive God's Will and not act until our direction is clear! No longer can we only think of ourselves. No longer can we ignore the greater good. The rest of the universe is waiting. What we as the human race choose for our world, is what the planet Earth will become. No one else can do it for us!

We have just completed a time of year when we often heard the beautiful words: Joy to the World! Let there be Peace on Earth! and Good Will to all! Let us truly take these words to heart. Let us choose a world filled with joy, filled with peace and filled with good will and then manifest it, for ourselves and for all life. It has been one year since we crossed the threshold into the new millennium. During this time I believe we have all become more loving and compassionate, a great deal stronger and wiser, and much more confident and aligned with the Will of our Mother-Father God. May this transformation continue together!

Through God's Grace and Mercy, every individual on Earth stands at the threshold of a new opportunity! All of the negatively qualified energy of the year 2000 has been mitigated, transmuted and transformed through the love, wisdom and power of Cosmic Law and the momentum of the previous twelve month cycle now sends forth its initial pulsation of unity, cooperation and brotherhood throughout the world.

Today, the Angel of Record stands before each one of us, holding a brand new volume of our own Book of Life. The binding gently cracks as the cover now opens for the very first time. Every page is clean and hopeful, awaiting our energy to write upon it, in blazing golden letters, the pattern of our thoughts, feelings and activities each and every day of this new year.

For these reasons, in the name of the I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self of each one of us! In the name of Sanat Kumara, Lord Gautama, Lord Maitreya and life itself, let us affirm that during the next twelve months all our energies will be God-directed, harmoniously qualified and constantly utilized to further fulfill our individual and collective Divine Plans.

What we ask for ourselves we ask also for all others.
